Sleep talker

I wake up last night because my sister is sleep talking. I about peed my pants I laughed so hard! In the most gangsta way she says this:


Mady: Yo! So what you going to do? Huh?! Huh?! HUH?! Dah boy say Whhhhaaaaaat?! No he didnt!! *starts to mumble* Stupid boy think he could beat me... Not today! I dance!! 

I have no clue what it means. But I about died. She says the weirdest things in her sleep! Haha! And yet she still talks about dancing.

Yay Mondays!

Mady waoke up this morning and says excitedly "Yay! It's Monday!" Not sarcastically. This was after saying on Saturday "I hate weekends. I don't have dance on the weekends and I hardly stretch on the weekends. I hate weekends." I swear this child is crazy :)

Everything's a Workout.

No matter when, where or what Mady is doing she is able to find some way to make everything in life part of dance. We sat down to watch a Harry Potter movie (Madys favorite of course.) I get all cozy with a blanket, she jumps up and does ten jumping jacks, then five crunches, and sits back down. I think "Oh she must have forgotten to stretch or something." A few moments later she lays down and does a few more crunches. Then sits in her splits, and then does some bicycles, a few more crunches and more exercises before sitting down again. I finally ask "What on earth are you doing?" She responds with "Uhh my Harry Potter movie work out. Every time Hermionie says something about reading i do crunches. Every time someone casts a spell I do jumping jacks so on and so forth." I said "Well fine then Mady, just take all the joy out of relaxing and watching movies. And make me feel fat as you work out every time someone says or does something." Mady "It's not that bad you can just do it with me." I promptly get up get a large bowl of cookie dough ice cream and sit back on the couch.

Hip hop ballerina

That moment when your family is having a dance party in the living room to moms new Dj file and Mady come down in her pointe shoes and goes all hip hop ballerina ninja point dancer on you. Yep we all quit after that.

Without Ballet Life has No Pointe

Mady spends most of her days at the dance studio (if we let her she might just live there forever).But when she is at home she usually wears her pointe shoes. Weather she is cleaning, sitting, standing, or just lying around if they can be on her feet than they will be. Today she was leisurely standing on point next to me in the kitchen when she says "Gosh Mariah don't you just hate when you are on point and you rip off half your toe nail right in the middle of your dance?" I just reply "Oh yeah totally hate that... You know because I dance on pointe all the time."

God made dirt...

This morning Mady had the last apple and dropped it on the ground. My dad and I said just wash it off God made dirt and dirt don't hurt. Mady Responded with "but God made germ and harmful bacteria and they can kill you."
